Meet Kortnie
Hi, I’m Kortnie, Registered Nurse and founder of The Lip Lounge Aesthetic Clinic. I hold a Master’s degree in Nursing and have over 16 years of experience in healthcare, with nearly a decade dedicated to aesthetic medicine.
Before returning home to Cape Breton, I spent several years in Fort McMurray, Alberta, where I refined my skills in advanced aesthetic medicine under the mentorship of experienced physicians and injectors. That chapter shaped my practice, combining precision, artistry, and a deep respect for patient safety.
My approach is collaborative, I value trust and connection above all else. I believe enhancing your features should always feel like you, just refreshed and confident.
When I’m not in the clinic, I’m usually with my husband and our two girls, exploring the coast, catching up with family, or rediscovering the little moments that make Cape Breton feel like home again after a decade away. Coming back has been grounding and inspiring, a reminder that beauty is as much about where you come from as how you show up in the world.
All that said, my goal has always been to build trust, deliver results you’ll love, and help you feel completely comfortable every step of the way. I can’t wait to meet you!
